One of the things we all look forward to about summer is spending time outside, especially after a long, dreary Indiana winter! Well folks, summer is here! It’s time to get outdoors and have some fun! And Fishers is the place to be in the summer!

Summer Concert Series
The Fishers summer concert series at the Nickel Plate District is fun, family-friendly, and free! Thirty-eight concerts are scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the summer. Bring a picnic and chairs, sit back and relax, or dance on the lawn to some good beats under the stars!
Movies in the Park
Enjoy watching movies? Check out Fishers Movies in the Park, at the Nickel Plate Amphitheater. Also at the Saxony park. Here you can enjoy being out and enjoy a great family blockbuster movie on the big screen. Pick up dinner on the way at one of the many fabulous restaurants in the area or enjoy some popcorn on the lawn!
Local Craft Beer
Cool off with some of Indiana’s own craft beer at Sun King Small Batch Brewery and Tap Room featuring a three-barrel brewery, and multi-tap draft system. Many of the local restaurants will deliver here or you can carry-in food, as Sun King doesn’t have a kitchen. Great for groups! All ages are welcome and there are plenty of board games for your family game night out! Four Day Ray Brewery also offers a great environment to hang out and grab a beer. They have many events. They are located downtown Fishers with a restaurant.
Continue learning throughout summer as you step back in time and enjoy an interactive history park and living history museum at Conner Prairie. Become a part of history with historical reenactments, hands-on activities, and even take a Balloon Voyage. There is something for everyone at this living museum!
this is the newest outdoor activity to check out this summer! The inaugural event, which will honor those who have and continue to make great sacrifices for our freedom. This event is sure to please with food, entertainment, concerts, a street fair, Family-friendly 5K, all concluding with a fireworks celebration.
